VAKO has stood for quality, safety and expertise in storage vessel manufacturing since 1968. Today, around 60 specialists in Kreuztal, Germany, develop customized hydrogen and high-pressure storage systems that are used worldwide in industry, research, and green energy projects. As a family-owned company, we combine tradition, technical expertise, and innovative strength with prompt reactions and a sense of active responsibility towards our customers, partners, employees and environment.

One of our unique advantages is the VAKO testing concept. It enables recurring tests to be carried out completely from the outside – without hydrogen losses, flushing, or downtime. That translates into up to 80% lower testing costs, higher plant availability, and maximum operational reliability for our customers.
